Congratulations to Maria and Max!

I am so glad to have been able to big a part of this couple’s big day.

This cake was definitely an adventure, as it had to be transported 6 hours north to Oklahoma!

I am pleased to say that it came out perfectly!

The Making of

This cake was made from scratch. I was able to make sure it was pure goodness from start to finish.

I was glad to be able to improve on the skills I had developed while making Phoebe and Ryan Mowell’s wedding cake two months prior.

I did my best to capture all of the “behind the scenes” moments for you to enjoy!

Precision, Perfection

I did my best to make sure that every detail of the cake was perfect and precise, from measuring ingredients, to the fresh flower decorations.

I have come to learn that no one step is the most important.

I see that every step depends on the last one—that is why precision and perfection are so important for the whole journey.
